Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Lead to lead our Dry Category in Ghana. As the Commercial Lead – Dry, you will be responsible for driving the efficient sourcing and sales at commercial scale of all types of dry products across the Country. You will be an independent contributor, driving the growth of the Dry Category. This role requires a strong commercial and sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.


  • Create, nurture, manage, and grow commercial client base for the beverages category in the on-trade and off-trade channels
  • Develop, monitor and forecast revenue pipelines across the category
  • Build out sustainable and efficient sourcing channels for products in the category
  • Build and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to drive individual and team success.
  • Regularly follow up with leads and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and product development, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and stay ahead of market changes.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue from existing accounts.


  • Strong network and understanding of the beverages sector in Ghana.
  • Compelling leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent numerical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
  • Tech savviness and a willingness to work with/sell SaaS.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales Targets.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Strong verbal and written  communication skills

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or related fields with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial management, preferably in the food and/or hospitality industry.
  • Experience working in the beverage industry will be considered an added advantage
  • Experience working with a CRM tool for sales lead generation, tracking and forecasting
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and conversion.
