Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our client’s organization as the Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading and managing the finance department, overseeing financial operations, and providing strategic financial guidance to drive the success of our client’s beverage industry business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
   • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives.
   • Conduct regular financial analysis, monitor key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess investment opportunities, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and evaluate business initiatives.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
   • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
   • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
   • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to statutory obligations.
3. Budgeting and Cost Control:
   • Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic budgets and cost control measures.
   • Monitor expenditure, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to optimize financial performance.
   • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
4. Treasury and Cash Management:
   • Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting cash needs, optimizing working capital, and managing banking relationships.
   • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow efficiency, minimize borrowing costs, and mitigate currency and interest rate risks.
   • Monitor and manage liquidity, ensuring adequate funds are available for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
   • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to develop their skills and capabilities.
   • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the beverage industry or related consumer goods sector.
