Responsibilities:
Utilize CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, ProcessWire) to develop dynamic websites for
a diverse range of clients.
Designing and implementing new features and functionality
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and
plugin.
Write high-performance, easily readable code to optimize website functionality.
Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
Conducting website performance tests.
Troubleshooting content issues.
Manage and patch existing applications following security best practices
Successfully plan and execute intricate projects, consistently meeting milestones and
deadlines.
Work closely with other team members for testing, QA, and other development needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
Expert proficiency in CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and ProcessWire.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across
platforms and browsers
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Strong proficiency in Git, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS
Effective time management and multitasking abilities, enabling the meeting of strict
deadlines.
Agility to adapt quickly to project pivots and changes.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, contributing positively within collaborative
settings.
Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in SEO
