Job Summary:

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth and market share within the building material manufacturing industry. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This position requires strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets and budgets.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Motivate and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Account Management:

  • Identify and establish relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and terms with key clients.
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty among key accounts.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, including order processing, inventory management, and sales reporting.
  • Monitor sales performance and KPIs, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and production, to optimize sales processes.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market segments and product opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to adapt to changing market conditions.

Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:

  • Develop sales forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Monitor and manage expenses within budget constraints.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the brand.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in sales management within the building material manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Analytical skills for market research and data analysis.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of building materials and construction industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
