SME located in Accra, branch of an African group, operating in the leasing and fleet management industry in Ghana.
The relevant candidate will be responsible for expanding the brand and its visibility, will directly deal with corporates (mostly multinationals) in Ghana and will be responsible for increasing the number of customers.

Duties:

Source, qualify and close sales leads that satisfy internal criteria
Create and execute a sales plan including but not limited to outlining a list of prospective clients
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Develop a business partner network
Attend networking events and other corporate events
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Seasoned professional with >3 years’ experience in sales and marketing
  • Previous experience in successfully scaling business
  • Large network of local decision-makers within potential corporate clients
  • Proven track record of developing and closing complex sales deals from the ground up, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Fluent or working knowledge English required, French is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, presentation, and listening skills
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize immediate, short-term goals and simultaneously focus on strategic, long-term goals
  • Familiar with CRM such as Zoho
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Tools skills along with the willingness and ability to become familiar with company-specific sales tools/software
